VDENT TESTIMONIALS
Since Dr. Cindy Charlier started her practice, Fox Valley Veterinary Dentistry and
Surgery, I have enlisted her help and excellent services in the last few years for a variety
of reasons.

Some of the best continuing education I have ever received is the seminars & wet labs
that Dr. Charlier and her technician Stacy provided.  The hands on experience for both
Doctors and technicians at my clinic are invaluable.  Our technicians love it and it builds
their confidence for things like dental radiograph positioning and developing, charting,
cleaning and most importantly how to educate our clients about the need for proper
dental care.

I would absolutely recommend and encourage anyone interested in increasing their dental
profit center to have Dr. Charlier and Stacy come to their clinic.  They are fun,
interesting and make everyone reenergized.

Sincerely,
Laura Brown,  D.V.M.

I just wanted to write to tell both of you how much I enjoyed your dental seminar and
received your mailing for a 3-day course held locally, it was a ‘no brainer’ that I had to
go.

My previous training had been a lecture here and there, and many hours at the dental
table. Most of my time was struggling to identify a lesion or deciding if it had to be
extracted. Then, the process of extraction was often difficult and tedious. Many times I
would struggle with closing the open extraction sites hoping they would heal without
problems.

First, I appreciated your very practical nature at the approach to dentistry. I know that  I
am not going to do advanced dentistry, so driving home the basics of periodontal therapy
was exactly what I needed. It’s also nice to know that the two of you are close by and
willing to help with my cases.

Next, thanks for the list of recommended equipment. Not only did I really need to
upgrade to a high speed dental machine, but the dental radiology system has opened my
eyes to the world under the gum line. We are still working out all the angles, but even
that is getting easier. I’ve never been as relieved as the day I found my first resorbing
root on a lower canine tooth in a cat. I must admit that we used to spend a lot of extra
time trying to get those resorbing roots out. Not any more!

Finally, the wetlab portion of the course really brought the course together. I have used
the extraction techniques and gingival flaps on a regular basis. I’ve found that clients
really appreciate the effort to do quality dentistry. It’s satisfying to know that extraction
sites close much faster now that I’ve really improved my technique. I know my patients
do, too.

Thanks again. I knew I needed the training, and with the course so convenient, you
made it very easy to take the necessary step to improve the way my practice cares for
my patients.

Sincerely,

Dr. Charlier does a first rate, professional job of preparing and delivering the material
covered in her seminar. You will go home with excellent prepared notes, equipment
practice everything that you have learned.  To top it all off, you will be well fed and have
fun.  What more could you hope for! You will not be disappointed. I cannot omit
accolades for Stacey her Technician...would have loved to take her home with us too!"

Cheers from the Canadians!!

Dr. Charlier’s course provided me with a solid foundation in dentistry that I put into use
immediately upon return to my practice. Her excellent course materials enabled me to
train my dentistry technician to perform thorough scaling, polishing, and charting. Within
several days, we were taking diagnostic quality dental radiographs, and performing
surgical extractions. Our confidence in the service we are providing to our patients is
reflected in our revenue. Our dental income has nearly quadrupled in the past six months.
We are booked a month in advance for dental procedures. It is most rewarding to hear
clients commenting at their recheck appointment that they have a different pet now that
they are pain free!

I participated in Dr. Charlier's 3-day continuing education dental seminar in April/May
2009.  Coming into the course, my dentistry skills were quite limited.  From the first
day's review of dental anatomy and pathology, to learning to both take and interpret dental
radiographs, to the hands-on wet lab on the final day, Dr Charlier was an enthusiastic
and encouraging teacher. My confidence and enjoyment level with respect to periodontal
procedures being both recommended and performed at our clinic has grown
exponentially. I would without hesitation recommend Dr Charlier's continuing education
seminars to any veterinarian or veterinary technician interested in either learning or
simply enhancing their dentistry skills.

The veterinary dentistry continuing education program provided by Dr.Charlier was just
what we needed to jump start our dentistry practice.  Like many veterinarians, we had
been trying to grow our dentistry practice, but struggled because our staff was at
different levels of education and understanding of veterinary dentistry.  We closed the
practice for an entire day and dedicated the day to veterinary dentistry continuing
education with Dr. Charlier.  We are now identifying and treating patient's dental needs
with confidence.  Furthermore, the more dental procedures we do, the easier they are to
recommend as clients notice the difference in their pet's attitude and activity..
